Brake Fluid Check and Replacement

Brake fluid is responsible for transmitting the force from your brake pedal to the brake components. Over time, brake fluid can become contaminated with moisture and lose its effectiveness. It’s recommended to check the brake fluid level and condition regularly and replace it according to your vehicle’s maintenance schedule.

Brake Pad Inspection and Replacement

Brake pads are the parts that press against the brake rotors to create friction and slow down or stop your vehicle. Inspect your brake pads regularly (usually every 10,000 to 20,000 miles) for wear. Most brake pads have a wear indicator that makes a squealing noise when the pads are worn down. If the pads are worn beyond a certain point, they should be replaced to prevent damage to the rotors.

Rotor Inspection and Resurfacing

Brake rotors are the discs that the brake pads press against. If the rotors have become grooved or scored, they may need to be resurfaced (also known as “turning”) to ensure even contact with the new brake pads. In some cases, if the rotors are severely damaged, replacement might be necessary.

Brake Line Inspection

Brake lines carry brake fluid to the brake components. Check the lines for signs of leakage, cracks, or corrosion. Damaged brake lines can lead to brake failure, so address any issues immediately.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Have my gearbox and clutch replaced. None of the garage in Barnsley wanted to fix my car as it has a semi automatic gearbox.  The car had to towed to AC cartech in Sheffield.  So happy that we have a chance to fix the car at AC cartech at half of the cost of what would cost at a honda dealer.
